Introduction

EBG College is a contemporary, career-focused educational platform that delivers practical training in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management. Designed for aspiring marketers, content creators, and digital entrepreneurs, the college focuses on equipping students with the real-world skills and strategies needed to thrive in today’s fast-paced online economy.

My role in the project

1. Design and Develop a Custom E-Learning Website Reflecting Brand Identity

Create a fully customized, visually engaging e-learning platform tailored specifically to the brand’s identity. The design will incorporate cohesive brand elements such as logos, color schemes, typography, and imagery that align with the organization’s mission and values. The website will feature modern, responsive layouts to ensure an optimal and seamless user experience across all devices—including desktops, tablets, and smartphones. Special attention will be given to accessibility, intuitive navigation, and user engagement to support learners throughout their journey.

2. Domain Registration and Secure Hosting Setup

Handle the complete process of securing a professional domain name that aligns with the e-learning brand’s identity, making it easily recognizable and accessible. Configure reliable, secure web hosting to ensure high-speed performance, uptime reliability, and scalability for future growth. Hosting setup will also include installing SSL certificates for secure browsing, optimizing server settings, and setting up regular backups to protect course content and user data.

3. Develop the Website Using WordPress and TutorLMS

Leverage the flexibility of WordPress as a content management system and integrate the powerful TutorLMS plugin to deliver a robust and user-friendly learning management system. This includes the creation of structured course categories, modules, quizzes, assignments, certificates, and student dashboards. The system will support both instructor-led and self-paced learning, with built-in progress tracking and interactive elements that enhance learner engagement and retention.

4. Integrate E-commerce Functionality for Course Sales

Set up WooCommerce to enable the seamless purchase and enrollment of online courses. This includes configuring product pages for individual courses, secure checkout processes, and user account creation. Payment gateways such as PayPal will be integrated to support smooth and secure transactions. In addition, the platform will offer integration with Google Meet and Zoom for live classes or webinars, and allow users to sign in quickly and securely using Google login.

5. Integrate Mailchimp for Automated Newsletter and Email Campaigns

Seamlessly integrate Mailchimp to manage the restaurant’s email marketing strategy. This includes setting up email capture forms, designing branded newsletter templates, and automating email sequences for promotions, events, and customer engagement. The integration ensures that the restaurant can build and maintain relationships with its audience through consistent and personalized communication.

6. Perform Ongoing Maintenance and Technical SEO Optimization

Provide comprehensive website maintenance to ensure consistent performance, security, and user satisfaction. This includes regular software/plugin updates, bug fixes, security scans, and optimization of site speed and responsiveness. Technical SEO best practices will be implemented to enhance visibility on search engines, including proper metadata configuration, schema markup, mobile optimization, image compression, and internal link structuring. These efforts ensure the website remains discoverable, fast-loading, and error-free—delivering a consistent and professional experience to all users.
